Review: Benefit’s Do The Hoola Kit

This isn’t a new purchase, I bought ‘Do The Hoola’ last year after my holiday at Duty Free as I wanted some makeup that would work well with my tan. The kit is everything to do with the ever so famous Hoola bronzer, which up until I bought this, I hadn’t used the bronzer before! This kit is perfect for anyone who is looking to bronze up their make up for Spring/Summer, so as we’re in those seasons I thought I would do a review of the kit!

Isn’t the packaging just the cutest?! I love the Hawaiian look! The kit comes in a sturdy box and like all benefit kits comes with a ‘Tips & Tricks’ booklet to show you how to wear the products. Underneath the booklet there is also a handy little mirror, for when you’re on the go.

First up we have the ever so popular Hoola bronzer that comes in a miniature version with a brush. The bronzer is a matte, warm toned bronzer and it really gives your skin that sun kissed glow. I personally wouldn’t use it to contour as I find it’s too light for that, I just apply it to my cheeks, forehead and chin to give my face a bit of life. Then we have the Dew the Hoola which is a matte liquid bronzer in a caramel sort of colour. It’s perfect for using alone when you have a tanned face, or you can use it on top of your foundation which gives yourself an added glow.

Next is the Hoola plush lip gloss which is a lovely shimmery brown nude and if like me you like a nude lipstick then this is perfect for you! However, I thought the lip gloss was too sticky for my liking. Then we have a mini BeneBalm which is a very sightly tinted rose lip balm. I loved how moisturised this made my lips feel, but I’m not keen on the red tint it left on my lips. Finally, there is also a sample size of the They’re Real Mascara – the UK’s best selling mascara and one of my personal favourites.

Have you tried any of these products?
